but Ronan was a worthy contender nonetheless. i honestly thought the h in here was going to be paired with the fellow teacher whom she had a beef with in her school (cause in the previous books, she mentioned a number of times how he always gave her the stink eye).Īs it happened, the H was not him. Definitely my new favorite of the series, I truly didn’t want this one to ever end!Īww this was simply cute and sweet. They fit so seamlessly together and I love that their relationship was so mature and never had much drama. But Ronan is determined to make her see he’s worthy of them. This was just such a sweet story, Larke is an amazing single mom who has her guard up thanks to Wren’s father. Even with the ongoing lawsuit, it doesn’t take long for Ronan to worm his way into Larke and Wren’s hearts. Larke is powerless to resist his concern for her student and his affection for her daughter, Wren. When one of Larke’s students asks Ronan to help her sue Larke over a bad grade, he can’t bring himself to say no. Ronan will do anything to get Larke’s attention, including representing the student who wants to sue her. and completely unfazed by Ronan’s charm and good looks. Larke is a Calamity native, a teacher, a single mom to an adorable daughter…. Ronan Thatcher, hot shot lawyer who just moved to Calamity, Montana, is smitten with his new neighbor, Larke Hale, the minute he lays eyes on her. This had everything I love about a Devney Perry/Willa Nash book! Small town feels, single parent, a handsome smitten hero, witty banter, low drama, and a touch of mystery.
